So the delayed posts from our trip to Florida are here. Its sad that it is all over. Back to the grind in St. Louis. October 23 we visited Grants Farm for their Halloween night. I would not suggest wasting your time or money. Nevertheless, photos were taken and we captured the memories of Halloween at Grants Farm 2009. I guess good thing, since we will not be going back in the future. A few nights ago Leah was enjoying a peach for dessert. Then is seemed, Lily got wind that there was a prospective food item within her reach. She became very adamant in succeeding her goal of having a bite of that peach as well. Turns out when Leah was done slobbering all over the peach, Lily was more then pleased to get the reject piece.

Ok, so Leah turned 6 months old on 9/9/09.  But I realized that before I post the 6 month old photo, I need to get the 5 month old photo up.  We were all displaced when Leah turned 5 months old.  It was in the middle of our old air conditioner doing out.  We were staying at my parents house. Leah and I had her first Parents and Teachers meeting yesterday. P.A.T.'s is a program funded by the government through the public school system. All cities have this program. City of STL, Crestwood, Afton, St. Peters, etc. It costs us nothing, and is funded through government through public schools. Anyway, these people are trained and pretty much the program is there for parents and children

Leah just gets better every day at holding the sippy cup. After receiving two letters from The Division of Health and Senior Services about getting Leah's hearing tested, I scheduled it. I was not thrilled with completing this task. I was told if I could not get Leah asleep for the test I would have to rescheule and they would sedate her for it. This was very distrubing to me. 7/9/09 - Leah is 4 months old today. We started the day going to the doctor for a 4 month check up. Leah was so brave! She got 4 shots, and didn't even cry until the 3rd shot. Last night Leah tried a little rice cereal for the first time. Well, really, two nights ago was the first time, but I don't know that I can really count that. Two nights ago Momma read the directions on the box and followed them word for word putting 1 tbsp of cereal to 3 tbsps of milk...and all that made was milk. It is crazy how at a little over 3 month old Leah is paying attention to the tv. In the morning before work and when we get home I let her watch a little tv. It really keeps her entertained. She will sit there and laugh, and coo, and kick her feet to the different things on tv. Last night she even fell asleep watching tv. What a terrible mom! I'm already putting my kid in front of the tv!

So the nursery is coming along quite well. My mom and grandma have been hard at work these last few months making the diaper hanger, organizer, basket liners, bedskirt, and bumper pad. Baby Tebbe sure has a one of a kind bedroom!Thanks to my dad and a little help from a coworker I have a chair to match the nursery as well.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to try the new 3D/4D Ultrasounds. After a long 2-3 hour wait, I got my 5 minute peek at Baby Tebbe.Although it was not easy to get a great shot of her, the ultrasound tech did the best job she could. It seems like Baby Tebbe likes to keep her arms and hands up around her face and head (just like the 19 week ultrasound).And boy does she have her Daddy's nose!
